I love the Cat and Girl comic (see my links, which incidentally, I really ought to update). This recent piece called Voter Resignation gives us a very rad slogan.

There's also a similarly irked comic from David Horsey that I liked although this one of his is even better.

And, then, Natalie Dee's smartass approach always amuses.

Of course, there's more, but I'll spare you.

Sick

Well, now I know why I was so low energy on Monday.  Went home sick yesterday and am home sick today.  Not really an AHA!, more of a hmph, mm-hmm.

Miss Nellicious is also ill, and we are trying to nurse each other back to health.  We have been, I think, fortunate to have simultaneous colds the last several months, fortunate because we can take care of each other and commiserate and not feel worried about getting the other sick.

I hate being alone when I am sick.  Weird, I know, but I want some human warmth and kindness when I feel physically crappy.  And, I like to know someone is there.  It makes me feel safer, makes me feel assured that I'll get better.  And, really, when you feel lousy, it's just nice to know someone cares.

Apathy? Not really.

Today I am sleepy and having a hard time giving a damn.  It's not that I am apathetic, it's just I should probably be wearing a big bumper sticker that says, "I'd rather be Ice Fishing!"

That's about the level of mental and physical activity I could handle right now.
